I took both of these pictures in Seattle, the first in 2005 and then the other just last week. I love comparing pictures and see how much the kids have changed or stayed the same.

Is Anyone Else Excited?

Ok, you won't find me waiting for the book in full witch wardrobe but we have reserved our copies and I have to say I am just as anxious as the kids.

Harry Potter Movie

So Harry Potter #5 opened today. I took Savanna and Jackson, thought Madi would be a little too scared and we met some friends there. We had Jelly Slugs, Exploding Bon Bons, and Bertie Botts Every Flavor Bean. I wouldn't let them eat the beans once the movie started. I could just see Jackson getting a vomit, booger or earwax flavor and run out of the movie toward the toilet! Now I read the book, twice actually, just got done rereading it aloud to Jackson. I know all those true Harry Potter fans are screaming, "It's not the same! They left out this, and this, and this..." Blah, blah, blah!! First of all the book is over 800 pages!!! I wouldn't want to sit in a movie that covered every single detail, we'd be there a week! And secondly, I have learned to not compare the books and the movies. I enjoy both in different ways.

Does this make me a blogger? Ok I am new at this and really am only doing it because I think I have spied on you all long enough. I feel a bit voyeuristic but now it's your turn to spy back on us. So here goes...The Davis Fam Five consists of myself, my husband Troy and our 3 kids---Savanna 12, Jackson 9, and Madi 6. More to come but for now I must refill the kids snowcones and it sounds like there is drama in the kiddie pool---Bye, for now!
