I don't know if I am ready for this but Jackson started football. Today was Christmas Day in the football world---the day they get to wear their pads and start hitting! So far so good, he is still having fun and hasn't been hurt except for the usual bumps and bruises. He told me today he wants to be on the Red Knights team because they have cheerleaders!! What happened to my little boy? I will keep you posted on the season!

Life's A Beach

What can I say, life is rough when you have to spend time on the Oregon Coast. We have been busy driving back and forth the past 3 week-ends while my mom rented a house in Lincoln City. It definitely is not the beaches of Southern California but that works to my advantage. I have yet to sport a swimming suit on our beaches. If you come out to visit, leave the tiny bikini at home---pack your yellow polka dot hoodie sweatshirt instead! This past week-end we had a fast paced, jammed packed week-end with the cousins---games on the beach, exploring tidepools, hiking up huge sandhills, good food and lots and lots of laughing! My kids are so sad to see them leave but they will be reunited in a couple of weeks when we go to Utah for Suzette's wedding!

I took both of these pictures in Seattle, the first in 2005 and then the other just last week. I love comparing pictures and see how much the kids have changed or stayed the same.
